Who we are

Red House Farm Bar & Restaurant is run by Red House Farm WB Ltd (company number 16848742), trading as Red House Farm, Hepscott Drive, Whitley Bay NE25 9XJ. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website, by phone, by email or in person.

What we collect and why

• Table bookings. When you book a table online, your name, phone number, email and booking details go to our booking provider so we can hold and confirm your table.
• Party enquiries. If you send an enquiry for a group or event, we keep your name, contact details and the details of your enquiry so we can reply and plan your visit.
• Email list. If you join our email list, we keep your email address and first name (if you give it) and send you news, offers and events. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
• Gift vouchers. When you buy a voucher, we keep your name, email, the voucher amount and any recipient name and message, so we can issue the voucher and check it when it's used. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Getting in touch. If you call or email us, we use your details only to deal with your request.

We only use your information for the reasons above. We never sell it, and we never share it with anyone except the services that help us run these things (listed below) or where the law requires it.

Services we use

• Cloudflare hosts this website and stores enquiries, email sign-ups and voucher records. Like any web host, it keeps short-term technical logs to keep the site secure.
• Our table booking provider handles online table bookings through the booking form on our Eat & Drink page.
• Stripe processes gift voucher payments and sends you a receipt.
• Tripadvisor provides the award badges and review snippets shown on our pages. These are loaded from Tripadvisor, which may set its own cookies. See Tripadvisor's privacy policy for details.

Cookies and your browser

Our own website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It saves a few small settings in your browser, such as whether you've closed an offer pop-up, so it doesn't keep showing you the same thing. Tripadvisor content and our booking form come from other sites and may use their own cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details for up to 12 months, voucher records for as long as the voucher is valid plus 6 years for our accounts, and email list details until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or ask us to stop using it for marketing.
